If the Pacific Northwest has a patron saint of ambition and civic imagination, it may well be Simon Benson. This is a name etched into Oregon historic landmarks for over a century including the Benson Bridge located over the Multnomah Falls.  This 4 ½ yr old wheated bourbon pays homage to this legacy carrying a warmth and depth well suited to the season.

Benson Bourbon is made with bourbon traditions developed 150 years ago using 70% corn, 16% Wheat, and 14% Malted Barely. Aged 4.5 years in brand new charred oak barrels.

Tasting notes: This is a rich smooth whiskey taking sweetness from corn and rich buttery notes from wheat and does not have the rye "spice" many bourbons have or as seen in the Columbia Bourbon.  "Soft brown sugar and delicate hints of vanilla give way to fresh oatmeal cream pie."  Other notes of rich vanilla, chocolate, fruits, honey, and walnuts.
